Rial's working, stretched out on the couch and staring at a datapad. Totally not actually comprending anything.

He wonders briefly where Plourr is, and whether or not he can convince her that they should have another holiday.

Her smile softens.

"Well, this beautiful and talented woman--who, by the way, is even luckier than her husband--" she traces a slow pattern in his shoulder,

"would like you to take her to bed."

Right now.

Seriously.

"Must I?"

But he laughs and wiggles out from under her, sitting up.

She laughs and stands, all bare skin and muscle and long legs and mussed hair, taking both his hands and trying to pull him up.

"No," she says, and she lets go of his hands. "I'll just go get something to eat, then." She makes as if she's heading for the kitchen.

Rial growls, and grabs her hand, trying to yank her back down to his lap.

"Hey!"

She is yanked down into his lap, and she throws one leg over him, brown eyes flashing at him along with a fierce smile. "Mmm, do that again."

Rial smirks.

The pushes her off his lap and stands up.

"No, the eating thing was a good idea."

[fighting_mad]

"Ri-al." She crosses her arms over her bra. "Come on."

He pauses.







Then scoops her up, and starts off in the direction of the bedroom, view slightly impaired by the fact that he's kissing down her neck and across her chest.

A startled noise, and then she's wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his shoulders, letting her chin tip back as she laughs through hitched breaths.

Rial stops when he reaches the door, and mumbles into her cleavage, "I need to open the door, my princess."

[fighting_mad]

"On it," she says, skirt hiked up to the tops of her thighs, and she reaches behind herself and turns the doorknob with very little fumbling.

"Excellent," he murmurs against her neck, and they step through.

[fighting_mad]

'At least for a while,' Plourr had said, but time has a tendency to get away from them.

Tonight is no exception.
